You know that moment when you’re reading a book and you just have to stop and bite your lip and squeal or sigh or close your eyes and wrinkle your nose and forehead and press the book against your heart and just like sit there and try to soak up the gorgeous literature via osmosis?

Jealous personal rant…move on

So I was talking to one of my former teachers today and she’s about to leave a a trip to Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, and Hawaii. Most of the people going with her are junior high students. I already have cabin fever and this just annoyed me to no end. I’m happy for the kids who have to opportunity to afford and go, but dang I am so jealous. She also went on a trip to Europe a few years ago which I was trying to save up for but it fell through due to a band trip.

I guess I’m just never going to escape Oklahoma. Or go anywhere outside of the U.S. on that matter.
